RECORDING RESOURCES

C930e Webcam - Industry standard webcam. Slightly better than 930e. More compatible with Mac than C920.

C920 Webcam - Excellent webcam for the money. 1080p.

Smartphone Tripod - Great for using your phone to record videos.

AUDIO RECORDING

ATR2100 - Insanely high quality USB mic for the price point. It’s cardioid - meaning it won’t pick up as much background noise as condensor mics.

ATR3350iS (Lapel Mic) - Excellent low-price lapel mic for recording directly into your smartphone (or computer if you have a 3.5mm audio input).

LIGHTING, BACKGROUND & OTHER TOOLS

Lighting Kit - Excellent kit for bright lighting. There are many other similar kits out there that will work fine as well.

Greenscreen - If you want to do slightly advanced video editing and replace your background. Also comes with white screen so you can have simple white background instead.

Teleprompter - For doing a lot of direct-to-camera videos. Lowest price out there for a teleprompter, but requires an iPad to use.

USB Slide Remote - For changing slides at a distance.

EDITING/RECORDING SOFTWARE

Camtasia - Excellent video capture software with simple editor that won’t overwhelm you. For PC & Mac.

Screenflow - Similar to Camtasia. Mac only.

Quicktime (Records on Mac) - Quicktime can record video/audio/screen from your computer. Not sure if QT for PC records.

Zoom.us (for Interview-style recordings) - Great for recording interviews or hosting meetings.

GRAPHICS AND OTHER RESOURCES

WordSwag - For “quick & cheap” logo/graphics for your course. Requires iOS/Android to use.

Free Stock Photos - Don’t use images you find on Google - you can get sued/fined.
